Stephan and I have been eating loads of Acai Bowls since we first tried them in California in summer 2014. Luckily Berlin have good Acai Bowls to offer and when the Attila Hildmann frozen Acai puree plates came out, we didn’t eat anything but homemade Acai Bowls for brekkie. Now that we’re in Australia we were obviously on the hunt for the best Acai Bowls Sydney has to offer. For those who haven’t tried it, Acai is a berry from Brazil and it is mostly served as a frozen puree mixed with other fruits like strawberries and bananas. Then this Acai base gets topped with even more superfoods and next to tasting super delicious it also looks amazing and very instagramable. Acai Smoothies are also really nice, if you prefer that. I like when they add a little honey or agave syrup to make it a little sweeter.
ACAI BOWLS SYDNEY – OUR TWO FAVORITES
1. Bare Naked Bowls | Manly
The first Acai Bowls in Sydney we had at Bare Naked Bowls in Manly Beach and they were one of our faves right away. The place is small but lovely, there’s plenty of space to sit outside and they have good coffee. Bare Naked Bowls offers many variations so I’m sure you find just the one for you, doesn’t matter if you prefer pineapple, coconut, matcha, cacao or blueberries. Everything is fresh and organic!

2. ACAI BROTHERS | BONDI
As Acai Brothers is right around the corner from our place, it was a must visit and we loved it. Best about it is that you can choose the toppings for your bowl. So you’re totally free about it and can choose the three fruit toppings you like the most. If you want to add more, you obviously can, this will be an extra $0,50 for toppings like Goji Berries, Chia Seeds or Bee Pollen. And there are other more expensive toppings that you can check out here.
